Frank Lloyd Wright designed a system of homes that could be ordered via catalog to be built by a contractor named Arthur Richards of Milwaukee. This series of home designs was called the American Systems Built Houses (1915 - 1917). This vase was a detail that could also be ordered.

 

Nichols Bros. Stoneworks was commissioned to reproduce this vase for the restoration of the Wynant House (c.1917) in Gary, Indiana.  (Original Frank Lloyd Wright Designs, Outdoor Frank Lloyd Wright Design).
